Oh I am such a rebel

Hello dear readers,

the other day my godmother took me out for a shopping trip and I thought I could show you the pieces I got by doing an outfit post. By the way, this got me thinking: How do fashion bloggers always snap their outfit photos? Do they always ask a family member/friend etc.? Some fashion bloggers whose blogs I frequently read have new outfit posts every two or three days. Always having to ask someone can get quite annoying I guess :D Probably with selftimer then... Anyway, I was lucky and Freya was around. She's one of my oldest friends and we were planning on hitting the gym that day so she quickly stopped by to take some photos before we changed into our sport clothes.

It was the first time for me to wear jeans like these. [You know, that used-look] My godmother, however, loves this kind of style and I also wanted to try something new. I just told her that I didn't want jeans that were too ripped/used-looking because that's just not who I am am. When I looked in the mirror I was joking and said: "Oh, I am such a rebel!"

My boyfriend's mum kindly gave me that leather jacket and I like it a lot! I think it goes quite well with the blouse-cardigan-thingy underneath. Here is a better picture of it: (Again, my godmother chose it. She is such a stylish woman, really.)

.
I desperately need a white wall.

My favourite part is the back! So as you can see, from the front it looks like a very cool, cross-zipp (I made up that word) cardigan but from the back it's a blouse ♥ My friends from uni tell me that I have a rather feminin style and I was called 'the lady' during Fresher's week but they also said that they'd love to see me wear other things. Well here we go :) The best part about being a student that you can still kind of wear what you want. You don't have to obey a specific dress code as compared to working in a hotel etc.

In case you were wondering where these pieces are from.
The blouse-jacket is by Esprit,
the jeans are by Vero Moda,
the shoes are by Mango
and the bag is from Bijou Brigitte.

Hopefully you liked my first outfit post. Thank you again, Kirsten, you are the best godmother to have ♥

See you soon!

  1. Yay, your first outfit post, always a pleasure to see! I love the bright blue tone of the jeans! It contrasts nicely with you upper half. And onto the blouse, I just loooove it, Kirsten was so right to pick it out for you, haha!
